Owners of the HTC One M8 on Verizon, here is some bad news for you. HTC’s US president, Jason Mackenzie, revealed in his tweet that the Android 4.4.3 update for the Verizon One M8 has been pushed back to mid-September. The update was initially supposed to roll out in mid-August, but due to some GPS issues, it failed Verizon’s certification process. Hence, the software team at HTC is back to fixing the bug after which they will again need to get the build certified from Verizon before it can be rolled out.
— Mo (@moversi) August 18, 2014 The Android 4.4.3 update for the One M8 does not really bring anything new to the table except for some bug-fixes, security patches and improvements to the front-facing BoomSound speakers. It will, however, introduce Extreme Power Saving mode to the Verizon variant of the One M8, something that nearly all other variants of the device have packed since day one.
