If you’re worried about getting hit by one of these nasty scams, fear not — we’ve narrowed down some of the most common tactics and how to stop them....

This is how the tracking script works when a user visits a website the credentials are generally stored in the password manager....

Verizon has announced that it will start locking the phones it sells so as to deter thieves from stealing them. However, this will also prevent users from using a SIM card of a different carrier on their device. Initially, all phones purchased from Verizon will be unlocked when the customer signs up and activates a new service. However, later in spring, the carrier will start locking the phones down for a certain period of time....

The attack began when the five men entered the store and began to wander casually for a few minutes. Shortly thereafter, they began tearing up 21 iPhone 8 and iPhone X devices from their counters before fleeing the scene. The incident occurred at 20:20 last Friday. “Agents from Suffolk County and the Second Suffolk County Police Squad are seeking help from the public to identify and locate people who stole goods from a Huntington Station store earlier this month....

Late last month or earlier this month, I can’t remember, HTC pushed out Android 4.2.2 to owners of the One located in Taiwan, Singapore, and I believe Hong Kong. Over the weekend, it appears that European HTC One owners have also recieved the update, at least according to Android Central. Their One got the updated, and they produced a brief video to run through all the features. Spoiler: It’s the same stuff you’ve already heard about....

As creepy as it might seem, your phone knows everywhere you’ve been. It’s scary to see your most visited locations listed out in a feature called Frequent Locations on iPhones. Conversely, Google Location History follows you around on Android gadgets too. When you open your Frequent Locations and Location History, you can see where you’ve been, the time period you were there and how long you stayed (up to 30 days worth of history for Google users)....

If you’ve got Waze put in on your automaton phone, all you would like to try and do is transfer the update, connect it to your car, choose the Navigation App icon, and Waze can either launch (if it had been the last application used for navigation), otherwise you can tap Navigation once more to bring up a menu to access different applications....

Anki claims to have earned a revenue of over $100 million last year, but says that toys aren’t what it only aims to sell, indicating their seriousness towards bringing robotic devices into the mainstream market. Over a year after the release of Cozmo, Anki has now showcased a spiritual successor to it named Vector, which is slightly bigger in size than the Cozmo and has a grey tint to it....

The last phone Google offered exclusively on Verizon’s network was the Galaxy Nexus, and things did not go particularly well for the device.
